ABOUT ME
BEHIND THE LENS
I was born in Norway in 1982, but i grew up in Paris, Copenhage and Den Hague.After doing a lot of drawings and paintings up through my younger years, my hands could no longer hold my pencils, so I was forced to try different avenues when I wanted to create art. I have always loved creating costumes, playing around with makeup, and I have owned a camera for as long as I can remember.
So it was easy....I started doing photography.
But not the normal styles of photography, I keep emphasising that I am not a photographer, I am an artist.
My work revolves around the human within the shell, around the masks that we wear every day in society, and finding the person who are hiding inside my modells, and see if I can make that personality come out and see the light.
My photographs are my paintings now, playing with light and shadows, moods and life.
Most of my work is available in limited edition prints.
